A couple weeks ago we had a really hot spell here in Seattle. It was in the 90s to about 100 degrees! Pretty nasty when nobody has air conditioning! We spent a lot of our evenings at Pine Lake drinking icy cold rootbeer to keep cool (and we invested in a window air conditioning unit for our bedroom! It was heaven, the rest of the house was hotter than we could handle).
